"Grand Theft Auto V" is easily one of the best games today and that will surely continue for years with more and more fun mods coming out for it. One famous one, the GTA5Redux just recently got its latest version, 1.3. Those with the mod will be notice a lot of new changes when they get the latest version.

The weather system in the game has been totally rehashed as the game's sceneries will look a lot more realistic, which is really the goal of the mod in the first place. The physics of NPCs look more accurate now while the ENB has been removed entirely. Apparently, the ENB was the cause for the game's lags.

The textures of things in general from buildings to bikes and motorcycles have also been improved. Josh Romito, the creator of the mod, made his own "custom normal and specular map textures including road damages, cross walks, sidewalks, curbs, barriers, and more." 4K textures were also added for the natural elements from trees and bushes to the fire and explosions.

Even the tiniest details have been worked on with the new update. Water splashes have better interaction with whatever caused the splash. This also includes how tires move when going through water, mud, dirt, dust, grass, and even blood on the road.

For those who do not know, the mod does not actually change much of the gameplay. However, having read these notes from the patch, this is what Redux generally does: to make the game a lot better. While "GTAV" in itself already looks great, there are still a lot of realistic elements that can be added.

Players can already get the update on the mod's website. It is all for free and Romito is actually already working on the 1.4 update.
