While Rockstar Games continues to update its current "Grand Theft Auto" offering for players to enjoy, some fans have already started asking when the developer will release a follow-up to the much-talked-about "Grand Theft Auto VI."

According to BreatheCast, although some of the rumors say that Rockstar Games is prioritizing the "Red Dead Redemption 2" title over the next "GTA," this doesn't mean that the developer will be shunting the whole franchise. On the contrary, speculations say that "Grand Theft Auto VI" will be the biggest offering for the series yet and might feature a multiple-city storyline, where players can teleport from one location to the next.

While the rumor has yet to be proven true, featuring a massive map for the next "Grand Theft Auto" title seems to be not far-fetched.

Recent reports have said that Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive are thinking of featuring a subscription-based model for the franchise, and a huge, in-game world is one way to fill the content. In addition, Rockstar Games has been saying that the next "Grand theft Auto" franchise might go the way of another long-running series, "World of Warcraft."

While the statement is unclear on what the developer plans to take from the popular massive online multiplayer game, a multi-area map might be one of them.

Meanwhile, aside from the massive map, some speculations about "Grand Theft Auto VI" place some more A-listers, a female lead among them, to be featured in the next offering. According to N4BB, rumor has it that Eva Mendes might be seen on "GTA VI" as the first-ever female protagonist for the series. In addition, it is also speculated that Ryan Gosling may also appear as a character in the installment.
