Are Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton collaborating on a new song? Rumors that the couple is working on a new song together circulated online after the two were spotted arriving at a studio in Los Angeles last Wednesday as the country star put the finishing touches on his new album.

For the studio visit, Stefani was seen wearing a black sweater and checkered shorts with cropped leggings and she accessorized her look with a pair of black and white sneakers and a black cap. Shelton was also casually attired in a blue lumberjack shirt over a red t-shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.

According to Hollywoodlife, it has been reported in the past that the two are planning to record a country song, which is a first for the No Doubt frontwoman. While the pair has yet to confirm the rumors, both are working on separate albums, and it is possible that one of them could have simply been supporting the other at the recording studio this week.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight (via Daily Mail), the 39-year-old teased that a duet may be in the near future for the couple.

"I'm not saying that I've written a song with Gwen but I'm not saying I didn't," Shelton told ET.

The couple was first rumored to be dating back in October and since then, the two have been photographed spending time together in their respective hometowns. The pair has also attended a Cardinals baseball game and attended a wedding where Stefani was said to have caught the bridal bouquet.

Their romance has become a favorite subject of tabloids over the past months, and the country star recently took to Twitter to lash out at erroneous tabloid reports. On Feb. 4, he tweeted sthat he read more false reports about his personal life, his next album, and his job on "The Voice" this week than ever before.

"If my life was half as chaotic as they say it is I'd be dead," he continued. "My god I wish they'd move on to someone else!! It's so old at this point."

Shelton also explained a recent paparazzi photo on the micro blogging site, which shows him looking unhappy while out and about with the "Hollaback Girl" singer.

"I looked unhappy because there is always a herd of complete [expletive] chasing us around taking pictures," he wrote.
