"H1Z1" fans need to endure just one more month of waiting before they can at last get a taste of the upcoming zombie apocalypse-themed, survival MMO sandbox video game. John Smedley of Sony Online Entertainment informed gamers through a Reddit post that they can get an early access of "H1Z1" by Jan. 15. 

Two SKUS are set to be released. The basic early access SKU can be purchased for $19.99 and Smedley assured gamers that while it may not be better than "Day Z Day 1," they will still "have a great time" with it. Meanwhile, the second SKU has no details available at the moment but Smedley mentioned it will be pricier. 

Smedley also pointed out repeatedly in the post that the game is still unfinished and that is what gamers will see in the early access. 

"What you'll be playing January 15th is a really fun game, but it's early. It's everything Early Access should be - a fun and compelling game that isn't finished. Our goal is to have you help us finish it and have it be a game we can build a large community in over time," Smedley stated in his Reddit post. 

"We'll be starting out with roughly 64k square Kilometers, but we plan to grow it right away.. and over time create our virtual version of the US post apocalypse. Look for us to start adding land right away post launch," he then added. 

Gospel Herald reports that the title will heavily encourage teamwork and trade, adding that players will be implored to assemble themselves together and help each other stay alive in the zombie-plagued land. The Bitbag reveals that among its features is a close-to-real life gameplay that makes characters feel tired when they lack rest. In turn, players will have to resort to sleep to solve the problem. Another is the ability to set off forest fires, which will make killing off zombies less backbreaking. The site loves the idea of injecting contaminated blood to players to zombie-fy them. 

"H1Z1" is being built for PC and PlayStation 4.
