'Half Life 3' release date: Game remains to be Valve's impossible feat

This is a cool cover, but one thing that will be cooler than that is a new one dedicated "Half-life 3" cover.Wikipedia

Gamers had their hopes up for the materialization of "Half Life 3." But that was then. Now, fans are starting to think that their patience will not get them a new installment in the franchise at the end of the day. Master Herald recalled gamers' hope for a single player mode that led them to favor an online multiplayer component instead. The anticipation for "Half Life 3" was far above the ground.

Now, all that seems to be over and done. Gaming outlets now assume that game developer Valve has either abandoned the task of crafting the new title for the science fiction video game or they are simply having a hard time going through with it. Whatever it may be, it seems that the company has no plans of clearing that out any time soon. It may even be that Valve has no plans to do that at all. "Half Life 2" is now seven years old. Yet, the rollout of a fresher one remains absent or far off from Valve's cards.

In turn, hardcore fans of the franchise shift their attention to the possible reasons Valve ended up abstaining from releasing, or saying something, about "Half Life 3." Air Herald broaches the huge expectation that shrouds the game, adding that the incorporation of the freshest and up-to-the-minute technology in their titles has easily become Valve's trademark. To continue what it started, an innovation is likely being dug out for "Half Life 3," assuming the company is actually working on it at the moment. However, Air Herald says that the problem lies here. With the dearth of innovative features fit to inject into the game, Valve may be planning to wait until something comes. But worse, Valve has given up finding or concocting one. In short, the company is pressured to live up to the standards it set when it released its previous titles.
