This is a cool cover, but one thing than will be cooler than that is a new one dedicated "Half-life 3" cover. Wikipedia

"Half Life" is one of those games that has left a mark on gamers' hearts. This epic game from Valve is still currently on its second installment, which was actually released a decade ago. Now, gamers continue to wait patiently for the third instalment to be released.

Valve hasn't released any news about "Half Life 3," not even saying if it's in the works, in production, or not going to happen at all. Fans of the game have been stuck in limbo, not knowing what to expect from Valve. For one, it is hard to think that a game this successful won't have a third edition. However, why is Valve still not working on it?

Gamers got the surprise of their life when a leak happened after a Steam update last week. Once the leak was seen, gamers went crazy even if it was an unofficial announcement from Valve. What happened was, after the Steam update, there was an "App 323900" that came out, reports Motoring Crunch. What made it so shocking was that there was a "Half Life 3" logo beside the app number.

Many rejoiced as they were given renewed hope that "Half Life 3" is indeed happening. However, many have also asked if this was an accidental leak or one that Valve intended to do. Once the game developer learned about the havoc happening, they took down the app immediately.

By the looks of it, "Half Life 3" is already under development, or so people believe. Gabe Newell, co-founder of Valve and "Half Life" creator, shed some light on the issue. Newell hasn't said anything about the third instalment for 10 years running, but it seems he didn't have a choice after the leak.

In that interview, Newell said that "Half Life 3" is not in production and will not be released any time soon. However, Motoring Crunch would like to point out that Newell never denied the game either. Then again, there's a lot more waiting for the fans to do.
