The "Halo" franchise is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and Microsoft is launching free DLC for "Forza 3" and "Halo 5: Guardians." 343 Industries continues to tease fans with the upcoming DLC as they have released a short video clip hinting at what fans can expect to get soon.

Posting the video on Twitter, the video clip appears to show new weapons and the possible return of the Grenade Launcher from "Halo: Reach." There also appears to be some form of Wraith that now has anti-air capabilities. These items are still not confirmed but they are the most likely candidates, according to Shack News.

New maps for Warzone Firefight and new Forge canvasses are also being added in the DLC. These will be used solely for the multiplayer matches. All previous games in the franchise have never launched single-player campaign expansions, and it is likely the tradition will not be broken here.

According to Gamespot, the new DLC will also include an "improved spectator experience," and it will also give the players the option of joining live custom games for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. This will also be the 10th free expansion released for "Halo 5: Guardians."

The previous expansions included "The Battle of Shadow and Light," "Cartographer's Gift," "Infinity's Armor," "Hammer Storm," "Ghosts of Meridian," "Memories of Reach," "Hog Wild," "Warzone Firefight," and "Anvil's Legacy." The last free expansion was released in September.

Gamespot also hints that this may be the final free expansion for the game as the developers are now likely stepping full-time into developing "Halo 6." Work is also being completed on "Halo Wars 2," and it is likely that the developers are still helping in the long-gestating television series based on the franchise.

No official release date for the new free DLC expansion has been announced yet. Given that it is part of the franchise's anniversary celebration, it is expected to launch soon.
