Developer 343 Industries has once again surprised players of the "Halo 5: Guardians" shooter title for the Xbox One. Fresh from announcing a free surprise holiday gift for Spartans, the developer had another statement broadcasted. Apparently, there will be another, all-new loyalty rewards program for frequent players.

GameSpot covered a livestream event by 343 Industries announcing the new development. According to the industry follower, the new rewards program will go live immediately and will involve daily rewards for gamers who log in and play every day. Reportedly, the rewards will come as two free Req Packs every day just for gamers playing the Warzone and Arena multiplayer modes.

However, there is a small requirement in order for Spartans to get the free rewards: they will need to win at least one session in either multiplayer matches.

Meanwhile, the free Req Packs are different from the holiday gift Req Pack that 343 Industries earlier announced, which was a one-time, limited reward item.

The livestream from 343 Industries also covered the upcoming expansion content planned for "Halo 5: Guardians." The second free update, Cartographer's Gift, is slated for a rollout this week, though the developer has yet to come out with a specific release date. When it updates, the DLC will add more than 50 new Req Packs as well as one additional new map for Warzone and three locations for Arena multiplayer mode. Additionally, the second free update for the title will also unlock the new Forge mode, enabling Spartans to fine-tune and refine items.

The same livestream also touched on an upcoming, yet-unnamed DLC due for release early next year. Apparently, 343 Industries planned for the new DLC to come out in January. The teaser that accompanied the brief announcement highlighted the upcoming expansion's improvements and new items, including all-new weapons, armor sets, and skins for both weapons and armor.
