A big downloadable content (DLC) release is scheduled for "Halo 5" this December, and developer 343 Industries has already hinted at what players can expect from it.

Arguably the most significant of the additions is Forge Mode.

According to Design and Trend, Forge Mode basically enables fans to make their very own multiplayer modes. Players will receive tools that they can use to create these maps and then proceed to enjoy them as they see fit.

Seeing as how Forge Mode has already appeared before in the "Halo" series, fans can expect the version being included in the new game to offer more tools and possibly even more customization options than has ever been offered prior.

A video posted by 343 Industries that teased the upcoming DLC showed off what appeared to be the Space canvas, and that looks like it will be one of the templates being made available to players.

No word yet on what else 343 Industries plans to include in the revamped Forge Mode coming to "Halo 5."

Apart from the new mode, players can also expect to receive a new weapon via the December DLC drop coming to the game.

The new weapon is known as the M41 Rocket Launcher, according to Gamespot

Players also looking for new armor will be glad to know that the December DLC is also believed to feature the Mark IV helmet, which should allow fans to change the look of their characters even more.

There will also be new black and gold weapon skins featured in the December DLC coming to "Halo 5."

For now, 343 Industries has not officially announced the contents of the December DLC drop, so more items could still be added before then.

The game's developer has also yet to provide an official release date for the said DLC, meaning fans will just have to stay tuned for further developments.
