"Halo 5's" newest expansion will be giving players new maps and items to try out inside the game.

The new expansion, known as "Infinity's Armory," is the third free expansion that has been released for "Halo 5," according to GameSpot.

It follows the "Battle of Shadow and Light" expansion that was released in November and the "Cartographer's Gift" pack that was added to the game in December.

Going back to "Infinity's Armory," the new expansion is set to add a pair of new maps.

The first of the two new additions is the arena map known as Riptide. In Riptide, players will be tasked with navigating a complex network of routes in order to successfully overcome their opponents.

The other new map being added to "Halo 5" is Urban. Urban is a new warzone assault map that calls on players to master its many sightlines in order to become truly successful.

Aside from adding a pair of maps, "Infinity's Armory" is also adding a new weapon to the game. The Battle Rifle from "Halo 2" will now be available inside "Halo 5," thanks to the new expansion, and long-time fans of the franchise will certainly be glad to learn about the return of one of their favorite firearms.

A new armor set is also being introduced to the game via the latest expansion, according to Halo Waypoint. Players looking to acquire the new armor set will have to fulfill some requirements before they are able to do so.

For those looking to get the new Spartan armor, their Spartan Company must first be at level 3 in all Kill Commendations. The Spartan helmet will then be given to "Halo 5" players whose Spartan Companies have achieved level 5 in all Kill Commendations.

New weapon skins and REQs are also being added to "Halo 5" via the "Infinity's Armory" expansion.
