"Halo 5" is set to receive a good amount of new content this December, and now, fans can learn all about what they will be getting.

First off is the headliner of the December DLC, which would be the return of Forge Mode.

Forge Mode, for those unfamiliar with the franchise, enables players to construct their own multiplayer maps from scratch, according to Design and Trend. Players are usually given a set of amount of tools and items that they can use to create their very own maps, and considering that this is the latest installment of the franchise, it's a fair bet that the newest version of Forge Mode will have more to offer than ever before.

A recent trailer showing off "Halo 5's" December downloadable content (DLC) even alerted some fans to one of the available templates for Forge Mode, and it's presumably just one of many that will be available upon the arrival of the new content.

Aside from Forge Mode, the December DLC is also expected to bring back an old favorite, the M41 SSR Rocket Launcher. Along with the new weapon, players will also be receiving the Mark IV helmet. Lastly, the trailer revealed that new black and gold weapon skins will also be coming to "Halo 5" in December.

It's unclear if there will be more content coming to "Halo 5" via the December DLC aside from the ones that have already been previewed.

One specific type of DLC that players can reportedly not expect to find in "Halo 5" anytime soon is the one that would expand the game's campaign mode, Gamespot reported.

The reasoning behind why 343 Industries is holding off on providing any additional form of story-oriented DLC is unknown, although it could have a drastic effect on just how long "Halo 5" players can remain thoroughly invested and engaged in the game.
