Some may be excited, some may be worried, but nevertheless the solo outing for one of the galaxy's most famous smugglers is arriving to the big screen soon. The film's official title has recently been revealed. The Han Solo movie is now titled "Solo: A Star Wars Story."

Director Ron Howard shared the movie's official title in a video on Twitter. Howard thanked the cast and crew as principal photography for the movie was completed. It may come as a relief to fans who have been anticipating the solo movie. The movie now has a title they can refer to after months of being called the "Han Solo film."

The official announcement came after months of speculation and rumors, with reports surfacing online of a photo of a crew t-shirt. The working title for "Solo" was called "Red Cup," referencing a real company called Solo that produced red cups. The film will take place during the smuggler's early days, way before he crossed paths with a young Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as two droids in "A New Hope."

Other than that, everything else about the plot is still unknown. However, Howard has previously teased on social media where some parts of the movie will be taking place, such as Han Solo's home planet of Corellia as well as Kessel where he made the famous Kessel Run.

Places aside, there are two characters that Howard has also teased that will be included in the upcoming spinoff. Among Howard's latest teases for the movie include a pair of unlikely characters, namely Tag and Bink. Hardcore Star Wars fans know that these two characters are coming from the non-canon Star Wars comics. Howard shared a photo on Twitter with two Imperial officers with the hashtag #tagandbink on the caption.

Over the course of the universe in the comics, Tag and Bink get themselves into certain situations that also have them encounter major characters from both the original and prequel trilogies of the films. In the foreword of the novel version of "A New Hope," Princess Leia described them as being at the wrong place at the wrong time, which ended up with them being heroes in their own right.

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" will premiere on May 25, 2018.
