It seems Margot Robbie is still crazy about the role of Harley Quinn. Now that the female supervillain is set to have her own animated show, rumors say Robbie is set to reprise her character once again.

Warner Bros. has sealed the deal for a 26-episode run of the animated series "Harley Quinn," which stars the titular character best-known as one of Batman's enemies. The upcoming animated series, to be done in conjunction with DC Comics, is set to be aired on the studio's streaming service.

So far, Robbie, the 27-year-old actress who also played Quinn in 2016's "Suicide Squad," is one of the top choices of Warner Bros. for the voice actress role. That said, fans may want to hold their breaths as no deal has been made yet between the two parties involved. It remains to be seen whether or not it would be a wise choice for Robbie to voice Quinn in the animated series, as the actress has yet to reveal her voice acting prowess.

Still, Paul Dini, the creator of Quinn in the DC universe, found Robbie's portrayal of the character astounding, even proclaiming that the actress was his top choice.

"Every clip that I've seen of Margot as Harley, she seems to have nailed it perfectly. When she's introducing herself to Katana, when she's walking around with the bat behind her shoulders, she just seems to have really channeled the true spirit of the character. Seeing that come alive is just amazing for me. I saw the shot yesterday of her and Joker in the therapy session getting ready to kiss, and I was just like, 'That's it, that's my girl,'" Dini said.

Apart from Dini, there also lots of reviews and critics of "Suicide Squad" pointing out that Robbie as Quinn was one of the most redeeming qualities of the movie.

As for the upcoming animated series about Quinn, it will be loosely based on the comic books, though it will feature her best friend Poison Ivy, also one of Batman's enemies. It has not yet been specified whether the Joker, Quinn's abusive lover and partner, will be included. More will be revealed once the show launches with the streaming service next year.
