After seven books, nine movies, and a few spinoffs, the "Harry Potter" universe still lives on in many forms, including games. Warner Bros. recently revealed that they would be publishing a "Harry Potter" game similar to "Pokemon GO," and it will be developed by Niantic as well. Now, they have announced another new role-playing game (RPG) for mobile phones.

This new RPG-style mobile game is entitled "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery." Warner Bros. has partnered up with mobile game developers Jam City. The game will feature customized character creation as players go through the life of a student in Hogwarts. The gamers will then need to attend classes such as the Defense Against the Dark Arts, Professor Snape's Potion classes, and arguably everyone's favorite, Duelling Club.

Like Niantic's "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite" game, this RPG game will be coming out on both iOS and Android. Both of these game will be available for download within the next year. As of now, there has not been much news about anything else regarding the new game.

According to EW.com, CEO and co-founder of Jam City, Chris DeWolfe is a huge "Harry Potter" fans himself, along with his team. "As Harry Potter fanatics ourselves, we have great respect for the millions of people throughout the world who have followed the Harry Potter stories for more than 20 years," said DeWolfe in an interview.

"The game is a labor of love for our developers and artists, who are dedicated to creating the most magical entertainment and gameplay experience for everyone who adores J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World."

Over the past years, "Harry Potter" has had a lot of games for almost all gaming platforms. All of its movies had its own game versions made by Electronic Arts. Warner Bros. also made a Lego version game. Quidditch, the popular sport in the Wizarding world, was also made into a game called "Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup."
