Although the last episode of "Hart of Dixie" tied everything up with a pretty bow, fans want to see more of Bluebell.  However, almost a month after it aired its emotional season 4 finale, The CW dramedy has yet to be given surety of its renewal for season 5. At this point, it still has an outside chance of getting a fifth run.

Star Jaime King, who plays Lemon in the series, gave more insight as to why the fate of "Hart of Dixie" is still up in the air. Talking to E! Online, the 35-year-old expectant actress revealed that it is a "tricky situation" for the cast and crew.

"It's not like a ratings issue, it was more of a timing issue," King revealed.

"Rachel Bilson [who plays Zoe in the series] got pregnant and wanted to take a maternity leave. Every woman has a right to do that. I think that everything has an impact on the ways things are decided upon," she added as she took time to acknowledge the devoted fans of the show.

King expressed how much she loves "Hart of Dixie," which she called a "gift" and said that things will never be the same moving forward without spending time for and on the show she came to adore so much.

"When my son wakes up in the middle of the night, immediately I'm like, Oh! It's time for me to go to set!" King said. "It makes me want to cry because I love this show so much. It's still a success. It's really whatever the universe has in store. Either way, it's been such a gift."

King believes that season 4 was their "best season yet." The CW president Mark Pedowitz also admitted that show creator Leila did a great job with the last season.

But for now, Pedowitz gets it all down by saying, "If it ends, there's a great finale. If it doesn't end, there's a great season finale, but we're not committed one way or the other yet."
