When an FBI agent who was cracking down on organized crime is killed, McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) rounds up every gang-related criminal on the island to find the culprit in the next episode of the police procedural action-drama television series "Hawaii Five-0."

The episode synopsis from TVGuide also reveals that McGarrett will task Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) with forming a new division to take on organized crime. According to Cartermatt, the upcoming installment titled "Ka hopu nui 'ana (The Round Up)" will be the perfect opportunity to utilize Adam within the confines of the show as organized crime is an area which falls within his area of expertise. The episode also ensures that Ian Anthon Dale's character will be involved in most of the upcoming episodes.

Dale will eventually have to leave the show to film the second season of science fiction television series "Salvation." However, given that both "Hawaii Five-0" and "Salvation" are from CBS, things will most likely be worked out in such a way that Dale will be able to appear on both shows.

Elsewhere, Jon Chaffin and Gonzalo Menendez will be guest starring as Damien Bautista and Agent McNeal in the next episode. It will be interesting to see what they bring to the table.

The previous episode titled "Oni Kalalea Ke Ku A Ka La'au Loa" was set on Christmas Eve and featured Danny (Scott Caan) telling Charlie a bedtime story about injured veterans assisting the Five-0 task force. Additionally, McGarrett was privy to the aftermath of a robbery that involved the thieves dressing up as Santa Claus.

After a brief holiday hiatus, "Hawaii Five-0" returns this month with the 12th episode of its 8th season which will air on Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
