Video game developers Blizzard has already announced that there will be a special Halloween event for the online card game "Hearthstone." Players can expect to be granted some free and unique new cards to add to their collection. Additionally, a new Hero is expected to arise.

In a report by Gamespot, the event is titled "Hallow's End." During this event, players will be able to try out the new dual-class Arena mode. In this mode, players will be able to utilize hero specific cards, which is otherwise not allowed in the other existing game modes. The process is that players will be choosing a Hero, any type of Hero power, including the ones that are not necessarily for the chosen Hero. After which, players will be choosing their cards.

This mode can certainly open up a myriad of different possibilities. In addition to the tweaked Arena system, the event will be offering a new Tavern Brawl to fans. According to The Daily Star, the Tavern Brawl will be hosted by the Headless Horseman, wherein players will find out which costume they will be wearing for the event. The costume is merely a representation of the deck that they will be using to get through the Brawl.

The decks will be featuring different classes, and passive Hero Powers. Players will have to think carefully so that they can get far ahead in the game and make the most of every instance. Persevering players will have a chance to face the ultimate boss of the tavern, The Headless Horseman himself. Those who are able to defeat the boss will be rewarded with unique cards for the event.

According to PC Games N, during the duration of Hallow's End, players will be granted a free Arena attempt for each week. Additionally, players will be given free packs from the Whispers of the Old Gods and Knights of the Frozen Throne. Whispers of the Old Gods will be running from Oct. 24 - Oct. 30, and Knights of the Frozen Throne will be running from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5.

The "Hallow's End" event will begin on Oct. 26 and end on Nov. 6.
