Reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt welcomed their first child on Sunday, Oct. 1. The couple has now a son named Gunner Stone.

According to Us Weekly, Montag delivered the baby at 3:06 p.m., weighing 6 pounds and 12 ounces. Gunner was also 19 inches long. The couple's rep told the publication that the two are happy and proud that their first child turned out to be a healthy baby boy.

As a new mom, Montag said, "It was the hardest and most rewarding experience." Pratt, on the other hand, said, "Officially the most lit day of my life."

The couple didn't announce they were pregnant until last April when Montag was already almost four months pregnant. At the time, the former "The Hills" star said she was ecstatic and has never been more excited.

It would seem that Montag has prepared herself enough before the baby came out because she had read a lot of pregnancy books. Meanwhile, her 34-year-old husband shared how she has been wanting to be a mother even back when they were still dating.

Pratt said that his wife has planned their pregnancy well and really thought about the whole thing carefully.

After officially announcing their pregnancy, Montag went on Instagram to regularly post about her pregnancy. She wasn't shy about showing her baby bump to the world and was even proud of it. Montag also gave some tips to other pregnant women on how she remained healthy and fit during pregnancy through her Snapchat stories.

Montag and Pratt began dating while filming "The Hills" back in 2006. The two got married in November 2008 despite a lot of people not wanting Montag to end up with Pratt.
