"Heroes of the Storm" is set to welcome a fair amount of new additions, thanks to the recently-released "Eternal Conflict" update.

According to Polygon, the update is based mainly on "Diablo," another hugely popular Blizzard game. This means players can expect most of the additions to follow along the lines of the popular game's aesthetic.

"Eternal Conflict" will be bringing in new additions in the form of a new mount and more mercenaries to freshen up the gameplay. The latest update will also add the Butcher to the roster of heroes already included in the game. What makes the Butcher unique is his ability to gather meat from other characters on the field in order to give him a significant damage boost.

In addition to the Butcher, "Heroes of the Storm" will also be welcoming two more characters in the coming months in the form of King Leoric and the Monk from "Diablo 3." Blizzard has yet to announce when the two heroes will be introduced into the game.

The "Diablo" theme continues with the latest battleground set to be added to "Heroes of the Storm." Known as the Battlefield of Eternity, the new map features two lanes and numerous visual elements calling back to none other than "Diablo 3," according to Gamespot.

Treasure Goblins are also going to be new parts of "Heroes of the Storm." The Treasure Goblins will be welcome additions to the game as they will give players the gold they can then use to purchase more characters.

Certain items have also been added and removed to the game's store.

One other interesting note from the update is that players will now be able to receive 750 gold earlier by increasing the levels of their heroes.

As always, the latest "Heroes of the Storm" update also provides the usual audio and visual fixes found in most patches.
