'Heroes of the Storm' news: Lt. Morales and map tweaks in latest update

Battle Net, "Heroes of the Storm"

"Heroes of the Storm" is getting an all-new character courtesy of the latest patch coming to the game.

The new character in this case is known as Lt. Morales, although most players will most likely recognize her as the medic from "StarCraft," according to Gamespot.

As her medic designation may indicate, Lt. Morales has an array of skills that makes her best suited to be a healer inside "Heroes of the Storm."

Most of her basic abilities help either heal or support other characters in the game while her heroic skills are also excellent for assisting other fighters.

The first of her heroic abilities, Medivac Dropship, allows her and other players to travel to any spot on the map; her other skill, Stim Drone, enables her to give one ally a significant boost in attack and movement speed.

Her hero trait, known as Caduceus Reactor, enables her to regenerate her health quickly while in the game.

Aside from adding Lt. Morales, the latest update coming to "Heroes of the Storm" is also introducing a good amount of map tweaks.

Maps such as the Battlefield of Eternity, the Garden of Terror, and Sky Temple are among the places that will be undergoing changes with the arrival of the upcoming patch.

There will also be questions posed to "Heroes of the Storm" players at the conclusion of Quick Matches. Questions will also come at the end of Hero and Team League games.

In related news, Blizzard has just issued a banwave for some "Heroes of the Storm" players, according to an announcement made on the game's official forum.

Players who were found to have violated the terms of use of Battle Net were the ones who have been hit by the banwave. These players reportedly used hacking programs to gain unfair advantages in the game.
