"Heroes of the Storm" is welcoming a new hero along with introducing players to the start of the "Lunar Festival" event.

Starting off with the new character, "Heroes of the Storm" players will now be able to use Li-Ming inside the game. Li-Ming is a character that may be somewhat familiar to long-time Blizzard fans since she is based on the Wizard archetype that is also seen in "Diablo III."

Li-Ming will feature her own array of long-range attacks inside "Heroes of the Storm," and she will also be a bit different from the rest of the characters inside the game.

As GameSpot reported, Li-Ming has been designed to feature a higher skill-cap within "Heroes of the Storm," making her a must-try character for veteran players.

Aside from Li-Ming, the latest patch for the game is also bringing back the "Lunar Festival" event.

During the "Lunar Festival," players who are able to complete a total of 25 games across several modes including Quick Match, Ranked Play or Versus A.I. will be given a special Monkey Elder holiday portrait, according to Battle Net.

The "Lunar Festival" will also be introducing the "Catch the Monkey Elder" quest. The new quest will be made available daily and players who successfully capture the Monkey Elder will be rewarded with a red envelope containing 100 gold.

There is a 50 percent chance that the Monkey Elder will show up during a game, but only if at least one of the players has yet to finish the quest for that day.

Also, the "Lunar Festival" event will also be bringing back old character skins as well new ones that players can obtain.

The "Lunar Festival" event inside "Heroes of the Storm" is currently scheduled to wrap up on March 1, so players looking to enjoy all it has to offer will have to pour in a lot of game hours before then.
