A new "Heroes Reborn" trailer has been released and it shows how an awkward teen named Tommy (Robert Kay), whose only yearning in life is to simply live it normally with the girl he loves, becomes one of the world's treasured super-powered protectors.

The clip, which is aptly titled "Be Extraordinary," follows Tommy as he discovers his abilities and how desperate he is to keep them from the world that is out to kill people like him. The video also establishes that Tommy is stuck with simply looking at the girl of his dreams from afar and in another guy's arms.

In the "Heroes Reborn" clip, the teen can be heard via a voice-over saying, "It doesn't matter how ordinary you think you are. We all have the potential to be heroes."

His newfound abilities also bring him closer to the girl he loves in silence after saving her life and learning his secret.

While this seems to be going well, his powers also makes him a target to Luke (Zachary Levi) and Joanne (Judith Shekoni), who are out to seek revenge on humans with superhero capacities such as that of Tommy.

The rest of the video shows Tommy struggling between trying to be normal and giving in to his calling of saving the world. He eventually sharpens his powers and believes that one day, he is going to save the world.

On the other hand, another newly-published video takes viewers behind the scenes of "Heroes Reborn," where they meet old and new characters who talked about their roles and what the remake will be all about.

The story of "Heroes Reborn" begins with the attack that cut a swathe through Odessa, Texas. People with extraordinary abilities are being held responsible for the tragedy and are now being hunted and killed. This drives these people to hide.

"Heroes Reborn," which will see the return of original cast members Jack Coleman (H.R.G.), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) and Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), airs Sept. 24.
