Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Rodham Clinton may look prim and proper in front of the public's eye, but behind the White House's closed doors, she can have a rude fit of fury, according to a new book.

Author Edward Klein narrated in his new book about Clinton, "Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary," how the presidential hopeful lost her cool during a meeting she requested with President Barack Obama at the Oval Office to discuss her leaked private e-mails, which she believed were released by the President's aides.

Klein said Clinton wanted to meet Obama believing that "she was being persecuted for minor, meaningless violations." The former Secretary of State's husband, former US President Bill Clinton, supposedly advised Hillary against meeting with Obama, but she still pushed ahead with it.

According to Klein's book, Hillary was initially calm and friendly during the meeting, but blew up when Obama reacted as if he didn't know what she was talking about.

"He was almost being deliberately dense. It really angered her," an unnamed Clinton source told the author.

Addressing the President by his first name and breaking White House decorum, Hillary supposedly shouted these words to Obama: "What I want for you to do is call off your f–king dogs, Barack!"

Hearing this, President Obama was supposedly stunned, and had to take a moment to compose himself, Klein narrated in his book.

According to the book, Obama eventually told the enraged Clinton: "There is nothing I can do for you one way or another. Things have been set in motion, and I can't and won't interfere. Your problems are, frankly, of your own making. If you had been honest..."

After this, Hillary supposedly still lashed out at Obama and said, "There are always haters out there to get the Clintons."

Nick Merrill, Clinton's spokesman, denied that the shouting incident happened and sought to discredit Klein.

"Another book? Someone should do a book about Ed. They could call it 'Bulls–t: The Problem with Anything Ed Klein Writes'," Merrill said.

"The only true thing about him is his consistent and utter lack of a relationship with the facts. He has more hair than credibility, and the man is bald. So we're not going to get down in the gutter with him and his outrageous fabrications," he added.
