Holly Holm can look forward to a grand homecoming celebration when she finally makes her way back home to Albuquerque, N.M.

A homecoming parade for the newly crowned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion is currently set for Sunday, Dec. 6, KOAT Albuquerque reported.

The homecoming celebration will take place from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. 

As of now, the official route details of the Holm's homecoming parade have yet to be detailed, although further news regarding that should be made available prior to Sunday.

The homecoming celebration for Holm will also feature participation from several of the city's officials.

In related news, Holm said she would "welcome" a rematch with Ronda Rousey.

During a recent appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and as reported on by SB Nation, Holm talked about the possibility of a rematch with Rousey.

Holm said that not only is she open to fighting Rousey again, but that she also believes that the former UFC women's bantamweight champion will be coming back even better than before when they do wind up in a match yet again.

Holm talked about how she too had suffered from devastating setbacks earlier in her career and how those instances have motivated her to become an even better fighter moving forward. She believes that Rousey will adopt the same mentality and that's why she is gearing up for an even tougher fight the next time around.

The recently crowned UFC women's bantamweight champion also acknowledged how she has benefited from defeating Rousey in particular. She indicated that her win was so monumental partly because Rousey was such a dominant figure for so long. 

Holm famously knocked out the then undefeated Rousey at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia. The win pushed Holm's UFC record to a perfect 3–0. It was also Holm's first knockout victory in the UFC.
