Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm got her wish of having a fight this March against Miesha Tate, and now, she has to buckle down to work to make sure she ends up still being the champion after UFC 197.

UFC 197 takes place in Las Vegas on March 5, one of two big matches for the evening. The other main event will feature Conor McGregor making his debut in the UFC lightweight division as he tries his skills in the weight class against the reigning champion Rafael dos Anjos.

Holm knows Tate too well and understands that it is a totally new fight. She understands what Tate is capable off and whatever tricks she was able to pull off against Ronda Rousey may not necessarily apply to her friend.

Holm is wise to the fact that Tate carries a well-rounded repertoire of tricks and is someone that she will have to be careful with once they enter the Octagon, as she details via Fox Sports.

And on that note, expect Tate to put up a good fight. Both fighters hold the distinction of lasting more than a round over Rousey, although Holm may have a slight edge since she was able to deal Rousey her first UFC career loss.

The fight will have more pressure on Holm since she technically has to ensure that she is still the champion by the time the match is over. She is still the one that the UFC wants to put up against Rousey, although there is no definite date yet on when that would happen, as asked on the Bleacher Report.

UFC 200 will take place in July and even if Holm is ready, Rousey is still a big question mark. Apparently, the former champ is still feeling the effects of that tough knockout from Holm and is tied up with a lot of things in Hollywood.
