Will Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) allow Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) to sacrifice Peter Quinn's (Rupert Friend) life in order to save Berlin from the terrorists in the 11th episode of "Homeland" season 5?

In one of the promo teasers recently released by Showtime for the episode titled "Our Man in Damascus," Quinn remains in a coma after being exposed to a terrifying chemical weapon in the previous episode of "Homeland" season 5. But Saul will not allow Quinn to remain unconscious for long because he is the only one who knows about the looming terrorist attack by the Syrian rebels in Berlin.

In a sneak peek for the upcoming episode, Saul and Carrie are seen talking to Quinn's doctor to take him off his medicines so he can answer questions regarding the alleged plans of the Syrian terrorist group.

But the doctor could not grant the CIA Europe chief's request since Quinn needs medications in order to stay alive. "The only reason he's alive is the atropine in his system," the doctor reminds Saul.

However, Saul seems to be very determined to wake up his only source of information to prevent the deadly terrorist plot. "I don't think you understand. This man was in the company of terrorists, planning a mass casualty attack here in Berlin in less than six hours. He may have vital information that could stop that from happening," he says to Quinn's attending doctor.

Despite Saul's show of persistence, the doctor will not take Quinn out of medication. He just reassures Saul that he will notify him once the patient is already awake.

But in the promo trailer for the upcoming episode, Carrie is seen waking up Quinn forcibly to extract information from him. As the doctors warned them, Quinn's possible recovery suffers because of Carrie's action. Can Quinn still survive despite Carrie's interference?

"Homeland" season 5 episode 11 airs Sunday, Dec. 13, on Showtime.
