Homeland season 3: Watch online, live stream premiere episode 1 "Tin Man is Down" [Showtime start time]

"Homeland" season 3 will finally premiere tonight on Showtime at 9 p.m. ET.

"Homeland" season 3 episode 1 will be available to view online via live stream on Showtime after it airs tonight.

The new season will be picking up from where it left off in season 2, after the CIA had been bombed.

The premiere episode scheduled for today allegedly leaked online at the beginning of this month, with fans across the world downloading pirated versions from torrent sites. The leaked version is reportedly a workprint which is missing VFX and opening credits.

Episode 1 of season 3, titled "Tin Man is Down" , will see how Claire Danes' character Carrie reunites with Damian Lewis' character Brody. According to Showtime, "Brody remains at large and Saul plots a counterstrike."

Fans have been wondering whether Brody was killed off in season 2, but he will indeed be alive and returning ot the show. However, the character will not be appearing in the premiere episode but is confirmed to appear in other episodes.

"[It's a] really strong season," she said. "I'm a little on the crazy sauce in the beginning of the season," she continued. "It's kind of sad this season, it's a little mournful."

Claire Danes recently received her second Emmy award for her work on "Homeland." She spoke to Access Hollywood about the upcoming new series: "[It's a] really strong season. I'm a little on the crazy sauce in the beginning of the season. It's kind of sad this season, it's a little mournful."

Damien Lewis also talked about his Brody character. He told Access Hollywood, "I think Brody has had a stay of execution... there were many times they could have killed Brody. I think it was because of the beautiful relationship that was working so well with this beautiful lady here, Claire, that I think [the writers] grew scared of it."
