'Homeland' season 4 episode 7: What is Carrie's next move tonight?

Last week's episode of "Homeland" was, by far, the best episode of the season yet. It was heart-gripping and nerve-wrackingly good from start to finish. "From A to B and Back Again" is a precursor episode, one that will point the direction of the season until the finale.

The previous episode showed that Saul was hostaged by no other than Haissam Haqqani. Haqqani used Saul as leverage so that the drone won't strike. Apparently, it worked because the CIA didn't drop a bomb on their heads. However, it was very unfortunate for Aayan, who was shot in the head by his own uncle after realizing that he was being followed by the CIA.

This Sunday, the episode is titled "Redux" and according to the official synopsis, it's going to get complicated for Carrie Mathison. Not only does she have to deal with sending Aayan to his death, she now has to deal with rescuing Saul and killing Haqqani once and for all.

All of these can be too much to take for the station chief, and the promo shows Carrie losing it.

There are men dragging Carrie and she says, "Where are we going? No, please."

It looks like someone is messing with Carrie's meds. In the same promo, Lockhart is seen in the room discussing how to get Saul back alive.

As usual, there were two clips released for the next episode. The first clip shows Carrie talking to the ISI Agent Saul was talking to in the secret meet. Carrie is asking for CCTV footage in the airport. The second clip shows a conversation between Haqqani and Saul. Haqqani tells Saul that he will "finally see the light of day, thanks to him [Saul.]"

Things are getting intense with the ISI's involvement in tipping off Haqqani about his nephew and the CIA. And of course, how will the CIA rescue Saul? Will Carrie stick to her decision about killing Haqqani even if it means killing Saul, too, when an opportunity arises?

"Homeland" returns this Sunday on Showtime.
