Found across the globe from high-end retail shops to street corner stores, the fidget spinner is one of 2017's most surprising trends. It seems that a spinner of every design and concept has been produced. However, Hong Kong-based Company, Chilli, has taken things to a new level. They have created a fidget spinner that is also an actual and usable cell phone.

The device called K188 features a small 1.4-inch screen and comes in six different colors. It has 32 MB of memory and can be expanded to up to 8GB by inserting an SD card. The bar phone has basic phone capabilities but is not capable of installing apps. However, it does include Bluetooth capability and a web browser.

Yet, the technical specifications do not reflect the phone's main feature, which is its shape and the wheel on the middle of the phone. Its design and shape makes it as an effective fidget spinner. PhoneRadar reviewed the phone back in September. Recently, the wacky phone has resurfaced on Reddit.

This is a great buy for people obsessed with fiddling something with their hands, as not only will it keep their hands busy, it also doubles as a mobile phone. Unfortunately, the mechanical aspect of the spinner is not advanced enough. People had hoped that it would generate electricity that charges the phone, but that is not the case.

For many, that fidget spinner phone will remain a toy, as the phone part of it is very basic. Still, the gadget can be a great conversation starter and it is a must have for those who have gotten into collecting the wacky device.

The handset is sold for just $20 and is currently only available in India. Perhaps in the future, another fidget spinner phone will be produced, one that can charge itself just by spinning. Fidget spinners all around the world will surely be looking forward to that day.
