Less than a month before the release of the next installment of "House of Cards," Netflix held a preview screening at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. to showcase what fans should look forward to in season 4.

During the event, lead actor Kevin Spacey gamely answered the questions of the press regarding the plot of the upcoming season.

"I can guarantee there are gonna be scenes and there is going to be some dialogue, and it will probably involve politics," Spacey joked to the reporters, as reported by Washington's Top News.

The actor also admitted that there are times when he would contemplate if the events that they portray in the series are starting to get too far. "Then I get home and I turn the news on and I think no, actually we haven't gone far enough, we're kind of tame compared to what's really going on," the actor who portrays the role of U.S. President Frank Underwood shared.

Meanwhile, the review of the premiere episode of "House of Cards" season 4 revealed that the upcoming season will be filled with a lot of violence and brutality because of President Underwood.

The premiere episode will also showcase what Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) can do as she steps out of her husband's shadows. She works with a Texas-based political consultant, portrayed by actress Neve Campbell, to kick Frank out of the Oval Office.

Nathan Darrow, the actor who portrays the role of Secret Service Agent Edward Meechum, told The Hollywood Reporter that there are a lot of surprises when the series returns next month.

"Fans should be excited for more of the brilliant villainy of Frank and more of the bloodshed that flows in his wake," Darrow teased. "They keep unfolding, both dark and light."

"House of Cards" season 4 will be released by Netflix on Friday, March 4.
