"House of Cards" season 3 is getting closer and, right now, fans of the show can't stop talking about it. What's going to happen in the third season? Is Doug Stamper going to return? Are Frank and Claire at odds? While there are  so many more questions going around, there's only a handful of clues as to what will go down in season 3. 

Nonetheless, fans know that when the show returns, they will see the struggle of Francis Underwood as the new president of the U.S.A. It is not an easy job and seeing that he clawed his way up, he will always be looking over his shoulder. 

Actor Kevin Spacey described season 3 best when he said, "There are shocks surprises, holes and turns." 

In the trailer, the first thing that Frank says is, "You want to know what takes real courage? Holding it all together when the stakes are this high."

This clearly proves that Frank won't have an easy time on top. 

What about Doug Stamper? In the season 2 finale, he got hit in the head really bad and it appears like he isn't going to make it. Showrunner Beau Willimon said on Twitter that Stamper's death is "pretty evident." Also, according to Starcasm, actor Michael Kelly has been busy making movies so he didn't have time to do season 3. 

Meanwhile, despite the brewing tension between Frank and Claire, it looks like the new First Lady will make a startling discovery. There was a leaked synopsis online and it goes: 

"Claire discovers that a drone with stealth technology is being used to track the sexual, clandestine excursions of Capital Hill targets. The developer of the classified tracking technology was a school friend of now-President Frank Underwood."

It is uncertain if there's any truth to this synopsis, but if it is and Claire and Frank find out about it, they're definitely going to use it to their advantage.
