'House of Cards' season 3: Frank Underwood to take on Islamic terrorism?

With "House of Cards" Season 3 already underway, Kevin Spacey guested on "The Colbert Report" to do some subtle promoting. And obviously, Colbert and Spacey talked about the plot for the upcoming season of the Netflix hit TV series – or not.

Spacey's guesting was hilarious. He went there as President Frank Underwood, and he spoke like the South Carolinian character he plays on the show. The two exchanged a dialogue and it was just perfect.

Colbert was discussing Islamic terrorism and then said, "God, how I wish Frank Underwood were president! But that can't happen because 'House of Cards' is just a TV show."

And then Spacey appeared.

Colbert acted shocked but went along with the dialogue. He went ahead and asked the opinion of President Frank Underwood about the current terrorism situation.

Spacey replied, "A dog doesn't need to show his teeth as long as his growl's deep enough, his food bowl is full and he knows where all the bones are buried."

Very deep words from President Underwood, but Colbert didn't understand a thing. He said, "Wow, I have no [bleep]-ing idea what that means. But that was menacingly homespun, sir. I just hope Obama was watching."

The short dialogue was a great fun to watch, but this made people think about the plot for season 3 of "House of Cards." Now that Frank Underwood has reached his goal of becoming the president, what is he to do now? Will taking on Islamic terrorism be one of his agendas in the show too?

Netflix has been very quiet about leaking spoilers for "House of Cards" Season 3. While the network had trouble with the State of Maryland in filming the third season, all is well now. Filming has already begun, and Season 3 will premiere February 2015.
