After enjoying a significantly positive response for its first two seasons, "House of Cards" is set to hit TV screens once again later this month with its third season. But just a couple of weeks before the show's return, spoilers began circulating online, and the leak suprisingly came from the network itself.

NetFlix seems to have put a wrench in the works last Wednesday by leaking ten of the thirteen episodes of the upcoming season. Although Netflix rectified the error within twenty minutes of it occurring, viewers who clicked play on any of the episodes from season 3 were reportedly able to watch the complete episode. As a consequence, there are plenty of spoilers doing the rounds in fan circles.

Despite the accidental streaming "incident," showrunner Beau Willimon is confident that it is not going to affect the show's scheduled debut in any way. In talking with The Hollywood Reporter, Willimon said that he acknowledges the fact that there have been a lot of speculation with regard to how the show is going to pan out plotwise. Still, he is confident that viewers would not be able to figure out what exactly is going on by watching the leaked footage.

"There's plenty of speculation on the Web in terms of what people gathered from watching those first 20 minutes or people who scrubbed ahead to subsequent episodes," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "And all I will say is some of that speculation is right and some of it is wrong. But I won't tell you which is which."

Based on the various spoilers accessed in the process, Remy is going to have a new job in the subsequent chapter of "House of Cards." Some fans also revealed that Frank Underwood will be seen "pissing on his father's grave" in the first episode of the third season. Claire will continue to be one of the most interesting characters in the series.

Taking into perspective the Netflix descriptions for the ten episodes that were leaked, it seems that the third season puts a lot of emphasis on Russia and foreign policy propaganda. There is also an episode that features a hurricane that puts the whole East Coast in danger.

The insanely talented Kevin Spacey returns as the skillfully crafted character, Frank Underwood, the newly elected President of the United States. Robin Wright also reprises her role as Claire, now the First Lady.

The third installment of "House of Cards" will be dealt for television viewers officially on Friday, Feb 27.
