It's been more than six months since fans last saw Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) Underwood from "House of Cards."

The political drama's third season ended last February 2015 and fans can't wait to know what happened to the power couple.

The last season saw the end of Frank and Claire tandem as the latter was seen walking out of the former's life. Frank's reign in the presidential seat didn't also do him good as he was faced with different issues — political and personal.

However, that could all change, according to iDigitalTimes, which reported that the president will step into power and make amends with his wife just so he could become more powerful and maintain his position.

Frank's chief of staff, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly), will also help him get to the top. The outlet further noted that in the long run, Frank will meet his downfall to be caused by the same people who helped him get to where he is.

There's also that question on whether or not Frank will indeed get re-elected. Since he's known for being a terrible leader, it is less likely that he'll taste victory.

Meanwhile, fans may be excited about the upcoming season but there's talk that it will also be the show's last.

According to Enstarz, the original "House of Cards" United Kingdom series ran for only three seasons and it concluded with Frank's death. The show did take a totally different direction, but fans can't help thinking if season 4 will say goodbye to the conniving politician.

The news portal reported a contrasting speculation as it mentioned that Frank will become more vulnerable without Claire by his side. In addition, Claire knows too much about Frank's dark side that she might someday use it against him. Either that or Frank gets to her first.

As for the release date, the show is set to premiere next year. If the Netflix series' pattern is any indication, "House of Cards" season 4 is expected to be released in February.
