House of Cards has been renewed for a fourth season as revealed by Netflix through its social media account and from the looks of it, the new season will revolve around the rocky relationship between Frank and Claire Underwood.

Ever since inheriting the highest position in the country, things haven't been the same for the two. Apparently there is a power struggle brewing and Frank seems to have been focusing more on his task at hand, retaining power.

But Claire, providing support for her husband as much as she can, seems to have been a forgotten partner. Claire has been providing the necessary guidance to her husband but as things are turning out, Frank isn't quite listening.

More so, Frank is being wooed by external forces to somehow ditch Claire. Claire has been doing her share as the First Lady but the world of politics is doing its thing – play with people and their emotions and it seems that Frank is being pushed towards that direction.

Executive producer Beau Willimon bares through an interview with The Beast that there are a lot of thrilling points to look forward in season 4. But he also adds that viewers will have to keep a close watch on Frank and Claire. Does this mean they will break up?

There are a lot of things to look forward to, many plots that will surely keep the fans guessing and at the edge of their seats. And one of them is testing how solid the relationship of Frank and Claire is as it is probably put to the potential test in the complicated world of politics and power.

Filming and airing for House of Cards Season 4 will start in the Summer so let us see what lies ahead for the embattled couple.
