Fans of the popular political drama "House of Cards" need to brace themselves for the show's upcoming season 6, as the two main characters of the series, Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright), will be squaring off against each other. One cast member revealed that Frank and his loyal team will be making their move against Claire.

Cast member Michael Kelly, who plays the Chief of Staff Douglas Stamper in the show, hinted that his character would team up with LeAnn Harvey (Neve Campbell) in an effort to take back the power from Claire and help Frank get back into his seat of power. "We both believe Frank Underwood is the perfect person to the lead the country," Kelly told Salon.

Kelly added that there will be some bad things that they would have to do in the upcoming season. "We are going to do some bad things along the way, but it's all for the greater good for the American people," he said.

Neve Campbell, on the other hand, explained the dynamic between the two characters. "They're very committed to their work and to being professionals and to the power of it. They're competitive in a sense," continued Campbell.

With the power couple being pitted against each other, there is no doubt that "House of Cards" will be as exciting as ever, and will continue to raise the stakes in the upcoming sixth season.

As Claire sits at the top of the U.S. government, her wit and charm coupled with her political success will propel her to become one of the most loved presidents in the country's history.

Of course, the power-hungry Frank will not take all of these lying down. With a loyal team behind him, he will be expected to summon up all that he has got to make some clever and decisive moves of his own, sooner than later.
