Is Brandi Glanville, formerly of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," about to star in a "Real Housewives" spin-off with a New York Housewife? The reality TV star appears to have confirmed that a new show is in the works when she took to Twitter on Tuesday, Aug. 4 to respond to a fan's message to Kristen Taekman.

Twitter user @jayroddtodd wrote, "@KristenTaekman you are just wonderful. So glad you are on NYC. I wish you and @BrandiGlanville would get a spinoff."

"Happening," Glanville replied

Back in June, Glanville confirmed via the June 24 episode of her podcast, "Brandi Glanville: Unfiltered,"  that she was leaving the Bravo franchise. The 42-year-old reality TV star told her listeners that "after a lot of careful thought and deliberation," she decided not to return to "RHOBH" for its sixth season. Shortly after her podcast aired, Bravo released a statement from Glanville on its website. Despite reports that she was fired, the star tweeted that she was not asked back as a full time player, "but I have been asked back that doesn't equal fired."

For now, the former model is busy with her podcast, a clothing line, and promoting her new wine, Unfiltered Blonde.

Meanwhile, NY Daily News claims that Taekman won't be returning to "RHONY" after its current season. Just like Glanville, the 38-year old has other interests aside from the reality show, which includes a nail polish line called Pop of Color.

On Aug. 10, Taekman tweeted that she was flying to L.A., and rumors immediately sparked that she was on her way to meet Glanville to talk about the spin-off. Taekman has yet to comment on the reports.

If the rumors of Glanville and Taekman starring together in a spin-off are true, then this will be among some of Bravo's upcoming "Housewives" spin-off series slated to air starting this year. Among the future projects which have been confirmed are NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak's roadtrip-themed "Real Housewives of Atlanta" spin-off, and Joe Giudice's "Real Husbands of New Jersey" spin-off.
