Hearing about the Houston Rockets looking to beef up their rotation with a point guard has been abuzz in the previous months. But with player movement expected to be one of the sidelights during the NBA All Star Weekend, two names are being tied up with the revamped Rockets quintet.

And ironically both of them played for the Rockets at one time.

The Phoenix Suns Goran Dragic is a prime target of most NBA teams and the Rockets are one of them. Dragic is no stranger in Houston, having played for the ballclub sparingly. He suited up for the Rockets from 2010 to 2012.

However, Dragic has showed his true potential ever since he joined the Suns. His numbers rose and now the Rockets are interested in getting him back. But all this would hinge on what the Rockets could offer to the Suns in return. Phoenix has stated that they would prefer to keep Dragic but with a good deal, all that could change.

Jeremy Lin is another prospect. Lin came from the Rockets before moving over to the Lakers this season. He donned the Rockets' uniform from 2012-2014 and put up good numbers before being traded to the Lakers for the rights to Sergei Lishouk in what was really a move to clear up some cap space.

The Rockets are no strangers when it comes to going for quality and talented players and seeing that they would need to hone up the point guard position has led to speculations that the two former Rocket guards are prime targets.

Aside from the two, Deron Williams is another player the Rockets are targeting as well. The Nets have been shopping Deron Williams along with Joe Johnson but nothing has materialized as far as the two Brooklyn Nets players are concerned.

On who between the three would eventually be signed is a tossup for now.
