The Houston Rockets will play the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of their NBA Playoffs 2015 Western Conference Final. The Warriors will have home court advantage in Game 1, and will be hoping to make that count to get their noses in front. However, the Rockets will know how big a win it would be to claim victory on the road tonight, and they will be hoping to immediately shift momentum their way as this series kicks off today.

Today's big NBA Playoffs 2015 game between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors will start at 9 p.m. ET and takes place from the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network, or online through live stream via the link provided below.

Ahead of today's game a lot of the talk has been about a Stephen Curry vs James Harden match up. The pair were the top two contenders for the MVP race, which was ultimately won by Curry with Harden being given the runner-up spot, however, fans have been desperate to see the pair face off to see who will have the edge when the real pressure is on. Now that wish becomes a reality with the Warriors and Rockets facing off in this best of seven series.

Both of these teams have shown flashes of absolute brilliance this season, and this match up should make for top basketball played at a frantic pace, with a storm of three-pointers expected

It will be interesting to see which team copes under the pressure, as coming into the competition both teams are just four wins away from the NBA Finals 2015.

Curry has said ahead of today's game: "We're four wins away from getting to the Finals and one step closer to our dream. There's one team in our way to get there. That's it."

The Warriors will be confident coming into this game, and will know they have what it takes to win against the Rockets. During the regular season, Golden State went 4-0 against Houston, and the games were not even close; the Warriors won by an average of more than 15 points per game.

However, it would be ignorant to think that those regular season games will have much sway in how things develop in this series. The last of those four regular season games was played all the way back in January, and the Rockets are a team revived. Dwight Howard did not even take part in two of those four match ups, and he has been one of the biggest inspirations for the Rockets in their run through the postseason.
