The Houston Texans and the Carolina Panthers will face off on Sunday in Week 2 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The Texans will be trying to get their season back on track after their opening day loss, but the Panthers will be in good spirits following their victory in Week 1. Today's game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and takes place from the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Today's game between the Texans and the Panthers is expected to be predominantly a battle between two strong defenses.

Carolina allowed just nine points in Week 1, and over the past three seasons they have always featured in the top 10 defenses in the NFL. However, for today's game they will be without linebacker Luke Kuechly, who has been ruled out following his concussion in Week 1.

Meanwhile, Houston's defense needs no introduction, and with two-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt leading their defense they will cause problems for every offense in the league. Watt has already registered two sacks and nine tackles to his name, and he will be hoping to make a big impact on today's game.

Week 2 in the NFL regular season will be another weekend packed full of big games.

No fewer than 14 games will be taking place on Sunday as teams look to try and gain an early advantage in their divisions in the race for the Playoffs.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football, the Denver Broncos improved their record to 2-0, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-24. The two teams were inseparable for the opening three quarters, and following a pointless first quarter, both teams scored 14 in the second to leave things 14-14 at half time.

In the second half things remained tight, and a field goal for each team in the third quarter saw the game enter the final quarter with the game still deadlocked.

However, the Broncos finally managed to get their noses out in front, scoring two touchdowns to one in the final quarter to maintain their perfect start to the new season.

But things did not come easy for Peyton Manning and his team. It took Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby to return Jamaal Charles' fumble to score a 21 yard touchdown with just 27 seconds remaining to win the game.

In that game, Manning threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns, the third of which came with just 36 seconds to go to tie up the game and set the stage for the dramatic finale and Roby's final touchdown.

The result will be a difficult one to swallow for the Kansas City Chiefs, who slip to 1-1, as Knile Davis had scored with just over two minutes to go to give the Chiefs the lead. However, it was not to be as the Broncos staged an amazing comeback at the death to extend their win streak over the Chiefs to seven straight games. In addition, Manning improved his personal record against the Chiefs to a stunning 14-1.

Whether today's game will be as dramatic remains to be seen.
