After finding out who killed Lila Stangard (Megan West), fans are now eager to discover who killed Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay). This will be revealed when Shonda Rhimes' "How To Get Away With Murder" returns for season 2. 

Digital Spy UK recently caught up with actors Alfred Enoch and Matt McGorry during the 55th Monte Carlo TV Festival, and they were asked about what fans should expect to see next season. 

Enoch, the actor who portrays the role of Wes Gibbins in the show, admitted to being as confused as the rest of the viewers when asked about who could have killed Rebecca. According to the actor, he has no idea who the killer is, but he said that there could be an explanation about the identity of the killer and it is more important to understand that first before finding out how they got away with it. 

McGorry, on the other hand, said that a lot of people are hypothesizing who the killer is. But the actor who plays the role of Asher in the hit mystery legal drama also said that if he already knows who the killer is, then the writers of the show are not doing their jobs properly. 

Lots of fans are thinking that Wes killed Rebecca, but Enoch is hoping that it is not the case. According to the British actor, it is bad enough that Rebecca died shortly after she and Wes began their relationship, and making Wes the killer will be more devastating. 

Enoch said that he feels bad for the "poor guy," but as an actor, he is very thrilled to see the development of his character in the series. Both he and McGorry said that they are looking forward to where the story will lead their characters next season. 

Meanwhile, series creator Pete Nowalk earlier revealed during the show's Q&A appearance at the Television Academy panel that they did not impose any rules in the show's treatment, which means that they could still use the flashback approach next season just like the previous one or feature a flashforward treatment. They could even choose to tell the story as it is. He said that they just want to keep the story fresh. 

Nowalk also said that a new character will be introduced next season, and that person will be closely connected to lead character Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) life. He also revealed that Oliver's (Conrad Ricamora) HIV and its effects on Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) will be a significant topic next season. 

"How To Get Away With Murder" season 2 will premiere on Thursday, Sep. 24, on ABC.
