Production company ShondaLand remains mum about the plot of the sophomore season of their breakthrough mystery legal drama "How to Get Away with Murder," but fans are expecting to get more answers on who really killed Rebecca Sutter (Katie Finlay) when the show returns. 

Nobody expected that Rebecca would be killed during the first season finale of Shonda Rhimes' legal thriller, but her death gives viewers another mystery to solve now that Lila Stangard's (Megan West) murderer has already been revealed. But how will this affect the dynamics between Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) chosen students and her legal team? 

Rebecca's murder case might become deeply personal for some of the members of the so-called "Keating Five," particularly Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) who had a relationship with Rebecca. But as of the season 1 finale, only Annalise and Frank knew that Rebecca died. 

When the series returns for season 2, Wes, Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King), and Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) could have all the reasons to believe that their professor and her trusted legal assistant Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) killed Rebecca in the basement. However, both are denying the accusations and they point at each other as the real suspect.

In his past interview with E! News, Weber stated that anyone of team was as capable of killing Rebecca as Frank and Annalise. 

"It's entirely possible that either one of us, Frank or Annalise, killed her. We're so used to lying to each other and ourselves what it is we've done or are capable of," Weber explained. "It's completely possible that Frank did it. But if you watch that last hour again, absolutely everyone had an opportunity to do it. So it's completely up in the air. It really could have been any of us. This was about self-preservation: she had dirt on every one of us." 

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 will be aired Thursdays following two other critically acclaimed ShondaLand shows, "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal."
