Producers of ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder" promised an exciting season ahead and so far, they have delivered on their promise. The first two episodes of the third season kept viewers glued to the screen after the body count added another to the tally of corpses that Annalise (Viola Davis) and her Keating Five have had to deal with in the first two seasons of the suspense drama.

While it has not been revealed who the body belongs to, some of the guesses have been ruled out in the second episode, N4BB reported.

For one, Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) has been ruled as safe as the flash forward showed Annalise slipping him her phone before she was arrested by the police, and asking him to wipe it clean. Still, the victim is expected to be very close to Annalise because of the level of her distress upon learning of the victim's fate.

Pundits are harboring a guess that it could be Bonnie (Liza Weil) who died in the fire since she is Annalise's protégé and confidante. The former also works round the clock for the latter.

Some have also speculated that it could be Nate (Billy Brown), because he promised Annalise that he would be staying at her house to keep her safe from Frank.

Some are also not ruling out Frank (Charlie Weber) after it was implied that Annalise hired somebody to get rid of him. Rumors theorize that having him die in the house may simply be a way to cover up the hit against Annalise's former henchman.

In an interview with the show's EP Peter Nowalk, he revealed that the format for this season will revolve around the question of who the mystery victim is. And with each week, possibilities will be ruled out until the series finally comes clean about who is inside the body bag.

"Every episode, you'll see more of the night of the house fire and you'll always see more of who is not under that sheet. So you can follow along at home for who is alive," said show creator Pete Nowalk told Variety.

And this is just the reveal for the victim. What more is in store for the reveal of the culprit?

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
