More details about the specs sheet of the long-rumored HTC 10 come into sight, courtesy of prolific tech tipster Evan Blass, who also shared a press render of the device.

Blass announced that the HTC 10 will boast a Super LCD 5 display, emphasizing that it is not AMOLED. Indeed, a Super LCD is another kind of display.

A Super LCD is touted to have less glaring, which should make everything on the screen visible even outdoor. It also puts users under the impression that they are closer to the display since the display itself and the glass have no air gap.

The "5" in Super LCD 5 indicates that it is an improved version of the display technology, according to 9to5google. The HTC One M9, the HTC 10's predecessor, sports the Super LCD 3.

It was previously stated by Onleaks, another reliable mobile tipster, that the HTC 10 will actually come with a 5.15-inch Quad HD AMOLED display.

However, some media outlets believe HTC 10 will better benefit from the Super LCD for its lower power consumption. It will also help its 3,000 mAh battery (also revealed by Blass) to stay alive longer.

Speaking of which, HTC 10's battery unit is definitely an upgrade from last year's flagship, which only had a 2,840 mAh unit.

As for its remaining specs, word on the street is that the HTC 10 will be outfitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM.

It will offer 32GB internal storage expandable with a microSD card. It is believed to sport a 12MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint scanner.

HTC hasn't revealed yet when the HTC 10 will be seen in the flesh but rumor has it that the Taiwan-based tech firm will lift the veil off the flagship next month.
