HTC One A9 is again at the center of a new leak, this one originating from Weibo. The handset, believed to be one of the two devices the Taiwan-based manufacturer is expected to release on Sept. 29, shows its face and a slew of its specs in a new live image.

The new photo, like the last one, sees the smartphone flaunting its design, which media outlets say reminds them of the Apple iPhone 6s. On the screen of the so-called flagship is what seems to be an email, which the leakster used to reveal what the device is all about.

If this leak is to be believed, the HTC One A9 will come with a 5-inch full HD display, which should generate a 441 ppi pixel density. That should be quite sharp for its size. One of the things about the device HTC is proud of is its fingerprint sensor, which is embedded on its home button.

The flagship is also reportedly running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor under its hood, which should pair up nicely with its 2-GB RAM and 16-GB storage space. It is still unclear if this will be expandable with a microSD card, though.

On the back of the HTC One A9 is allegedly a 13-MP Sony sensor. Users will use its 4-MP UltraPixel to take some selfies. Both units apparently have optical image stabilization. To make the most out of the device, a 2150mAh battery will be packed on its back.

The smartphone has been copiously teased in the past months, but HTC remains mum about the device. It is being said, however, that HTC will lift the veil off the device in a Sept. 29 event along with the HTC Butterfly 3. If true, the two would make up the so-called "dual flagship" the Taiwanese tech firm teased in the invites they sent out to the press weeks back.
