There has been a lot of confusion surrounding HTC lately, and involves what is believed to be the company's next flagship offering, the One M10.

Recently, specs and features of what was then believed to be the HTC One X9 hit the web. As it turns out, that assumption may have been mistaken, and those bits of information are now believed to belong to a different unit, specifically the One M10.

It's worth noting that the online community is not in full agreement that the specs and features that went online were actually for the One M10, and that they may actually be for another unit altogether, known as the HTC 02.

According to the Latinos Post, there's also a chance that the HTC 02 and the One M10 are actually just the same unit, with the former designation simply serving as the code name for the other.

Until HTC announces something officially, confusion will continue to reign over the status of the One M10, but even with that qualifier, it's still worth learning more about what might be the company's next flagship unit.

With that in mind, the rumors have suggested the One M10 will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor along with a quad core control processing unit (CPU).

The new phone from HTC is also expected to provide 4 GB of RAM. The One M10 will also reportedly be available in two variants, with one offering 64 GB of internal storage and the other one at 128 GB, according to the Inquisitr. The phone is also believed to support microSD cards.

HTC's One M10 is also expected to feature a 27-megapixel rear camera, although there's no word yet on what its secondary camera might provide.

The company's rumored flagship offering is also anticipated to have a six-inch display and is also believed to run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update right out of the box.

HTC's One M10 is currently rumored to be released sometime in March of next year.
