HTC recently released its flagship, the One A9, which wasn't received well, but a new phone might just change that.

According to Latinos Post, the One A9 disappointed a lot of fans and it also received criticism for bearing a similar appeal as Apple iPhone 6. However, there's anticipation on the Chinese phone company's upcoming device, the HTC One M10, which is rumored to arrive next year.

Will this next phone be a better version of the current flagship, or will it be another disappointment from the tech company?

Nothing has been confirmed about the upcoming One M10 and at this point, information about the device should be taken with a grain of salt.

The HTC One M10 is rumored to be released in March or April 2016, according to a report from Alphr. The report further explained that most phone manufacturers have the same target month of release every year. It is observed that HTC usually launches a new flagship either in March or April. HTC One was released back in March 2013 and the M8 in the same month in 2014. Based on these release dates, the One M10 is predicted to also arrive in those months next year.

The rumored key specs and features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with a 4 GB RAM. The device has a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560. Rumors were also pointing to a 4K resolution, but it's just talk and the current phones still have 1080-pixel resolution.

The device is also rumored to carry a 20-megapixel shooter for better photos, coupled with an internal storage capacity of 64 or 128 GB for files, especially the photos taken with the camera.

Reports also suggested that the device will automatically come with the latest Android OS, the Android Marshmallow.

As for the pricing, it's hard to make a prediction but the device is expected to cost between $650 and $800 based on the rumored specs, according to htcm10one.com.
