HTC One M9 will be available in the coming weeks.HTC

HTC One M9's first destination is Taiwan. The news came after HTC itself made the announcement during a local event. Residents of the country will be able to purchase the newly-introduced device on March 16. Shortly after this, users across the globe will be able to get hold of the high-grade device as well, although the launch dates on certain countries are still unknown at the moment.

By March 23, carriers will be able to put it on offer. The 32 GB variant of the device is priced at 21,900 TWD, which translates to around $690. On the other hand, buyers are to shell out 23,900 TWD, which is about $754.

Although Taiwan will get the HTC One M9 first, only the silver and black variants will be made available. The coveted gold edition will not be out until next month. Techno Buffalo also notes that the pink version may not be on sale on Monday either as it was not seen in the aforementioned affair.

The Taiwanese manufacturer unveiled the HTC One M9 during its Utopia event prior to the Mobile World Congress. Before the covers were removed, the device was almost always the center of tech-centric rumor mills. It was speculated to be a stellar device. Its M8 predecessor was an impeccable feat and, as expected, it came out grand.

The HTC One M9 sports a 5-inch 1080p display. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood along with strapping 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage that is expandable with an SD card to up to 128GB.  It will be shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop and the revamped Sense 7.0 software, which should make the interface look handsome. Then there is a heavyweight 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED and a 4-UltraPixel front shooter. Both allow high definition video recording.
