Antutu benchmark screenshot leaks HTC Hima specs.Antutu

News about the alleged release of HTC's upcoming flagship phone goes full blast today, as new reports have been leaked online.

The rumored device, dubbed as HTC Hima, is said to be the successor of this year's HTC One M8. Details about its specs have been leaked since the beginning of December, but the most recent seems to be the most credible as of the moment. The new information posted by gadget tipster @upleaks came from an Antutu benchmark screenshot, which confirms most of the earlier details released about the next HTC flagship mobile product.

Based on the leaked screenshot from Antutu, the new HTC Hima will come with a 5-inch touchscreen display size and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, similar to its predecessor, the HTC One M8, but it will not have a Quad HD that earlier reports have mentioned. The screenshot also shows that the upcoming device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, a big 3 GB RAM, a 13-megapixel front-facing secondary camera and a 20.7-megapixel rear primary shooter, which is a big improvement compared to the 4-megapixel primary cameras featured on HTC's previous flagship phones. The soon-to-be-released HTC Hima is also allegedly being released with the newest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop operating system.

But the newest update about the HTC Hima is its reported release date, which will come earlier compared to what was initially reported. Based on the updated rumors, the device will be announced during the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week. This is three months ahead of the rumored release date, which is said to be slated for March's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The invitation from HTC states that the Taiwanese company will have a press conference on Jan. 5 during the CES 2015. It also offers a sneak peek of the phone's supposed look.

The CES 2015 will run from Jan. 3 to 9 next year.
