Not long after rumors surfaced that HTC was cooking up an Android One smartphone, spec details for that device have been leaked. The details come from Twitter user LlabTooFer, the same person who previously tipped that the phone in question is the unreleased HTC U11 Life (also known as Ocean Life).

The leak provided patrons a good idea of what to expect to see in the handset — from its internal hardware to marquee features. It also suggested that the unit will be a mid-range device.

According to the tipster, the Android One HTC U11 Life will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 central processing unit (CPU). Boasting a 5.2-inch 1080p display, it will come in two variants: one with 3 gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM) and 32 GB of storage, and another with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. The front and back cameras will both clock in at 16 megapixels (MP), backed by a 2600-milliAmpere-hour (mAh) Lithium-ion battery that can presumably be charged over a Universal Serial Bus Type-C (USB-C).

The U11 Life will be IP67-rated water and dust resistant, running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Apart from those, the handset will also come with U Sonic feature for better audio experience, as well as Edge Sense, HTC's new software feature that lets users interact with the phone by simply squeezing down the sides.

At this point, it is still not clear when the HTC U11 Life might launch or how much it will cost when it does. However, 9to5Google estimated that its price could land somewhere in the $300-$400 range, which is deemed affordable for a phone with the aforementioned specs.

If previous rumors are anything to go by, the U11 Life will also have an upgraded version called the HTC U11 Plus. It will reportedly sport a new, bezel-less design to match Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone X. But these are mere speculations for now, so it's best to take them with a grain of salt.
